Directors present - President Rob Smith; Directors Brian Braun, Tracy Gardner, Roger Pannabecker and David Scott.

Directors absent - Vice President Shawn Davidson; Secretary Irene Morgan; Directors Lorna Nielsen and Tova Place.

Call to Order and Identification of Directors
President Rob Smith called the meeting to order at 5:20 p.m., recognizing five (5) Directors.

Appointment of Recording Secretary
Motion: I move that Canadian Pinzgauer Association Director Tracy Gardner be declared Recording Secretary for this Director's Meeting; by David Scott, seconded by Brian Braun. President Rob Smith declared the motion carried by a vote of 4 for, 0 against and 0 abstained.

Due to the unexpectedly late start time of the Director's Meeting, President Rob Smith suggested tabling all items of business for consideration until the next Board Meeting. President Smith identified the General Consensus of all five (5) Board members in attendance to move directly to the Election of Officers

New Business

• Election of Officers for 2002/03 year
  • Election of President:
    Brian Braun nominated Rob Smith;
    Motion: I move that nominations cease; by Brian Braun, seconded by Roger Pannabecker; President Rob Smith declared the motion carried by a vote of 5 for, 0 against, and 0 abstained;
    Rob Smith was declared acclaimed as President.
  • Election of Vice President:
    Rob Smith nominated Shawn Davidson;
    Motion: I move that nominations cease; by Brian Braun, seconded by Tracy Gardner; President Rob Smith declared the motion carried by a vote of 5 for, 0 against, and 0 abstained;
    Shawn Davidson was declared acclaimed as Vice President.
  • Election of Director At-Large:
    Rob Smith nominated David Scott;
    Motion: I move that nominations cease; by Brian Braun, seconded by Roger Pannabecker; President Rob Smith declared the motion carried by a vote of 5 for, 0 against, and 0 abstained;
    David Scott was declared acclaimed as Director At-Large.

    The Executive Committee is Rob Smith, Shawn Davidson and David Scott.

  • Election of Secretary:
    Rob Smith nominated Irene Morgan; Brian Braun nominated Tracy Gardner; Tracy Gardner declined, stating that she would assist Irene Morgan in whatever means Irene needs.
    Motion: I move that nominations cease; by David Scott, seconded by Roger Pannabecker; President Rob Smith declared the motion carried by a vote of 5 for, 0 against, and 0 abstained;
    Irene Morgan was declared acclaimed as Secretary.

Saturday, September 21st, 2002, 9:00 a.m. MST by teleconference means.
