There are two provincial Pinzgauer associations organized in Canada in the provinces of Alberta and Ontario. The mandate of these organizations is to facilitate the exhibition and sale of Pinzgauer cattle in their province and to assist other provinces in developing interest. The vast majority of breed promotion is done by the provincial associations, and they are also responsible for recognizing youth involvement within the breed, primarily though the 4-H program.
